General Manager – Marketing, Nissan Middle East
Syed Ahmed joined Nissan as the General Manager of the Marketing Department on April 6, 2011. Before coming to Nissan Middle East, Syed was with Nissan Canada, working as the Head of their LCV Business unit and Fleet sales, and prior to that he was Project Manager with their Network Quality Development Department.
Before joining Nissan, Syed had worked at different companies, including his business-to-business role with Dubai Cable Company (Ducab) as Assistant Marketing Manager. He also worked in consumer marketing with Arabian Automobiles, Nissan’s official dealership in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Between 1995 and 2001, Syed was also seconded to Nissan’s headquarters in Japan to spread his franchise experience around the company’s global network and to establish global guidelines and best practices.
